Em abril de 2019, participei do curso online Character Animation Express, ministrado pela motion designter Nathalia Okimoto. O objetivo do curso era a animação de personagens usando o After Effects desde a preparação dos arquivos, passando por rigging até chegar à animação.
In April 2019, I took the online course Character Animation Express, taught by motion designer Nathalia Okimoto. The focus of the course was to animate characters using After Effects from files preparation to rigging to animation.
No curso, foram ensinados as principais ações que um personagem possui, como andar, correr e saltar, com especial atenção aos 12 Princípios da Animação. As ilustrações utilizadas são das artistas Elisa Carareto e Gabriele Schauerhuber.
During the course we were taught the main actions of a character, such as walking, jumping and running, based on the 12 Principles of Animation. The illustrations used are from the artists Elisa Carareto and Gabriele Schauerhuber.
